What this website does not do

This website (loopmate.de) sets no cookies, uses no tools for analytics or audience measurement and loads no fonts, scripts or videos from other servers.

Language choice

When you choose a language or close the language notice, your browser remembers this choice in its local storage (entry "lf-lang"). Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete the entry in your browser at any time. This storage is needed so the site keeps the language you chose (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Hosting and server log files

The website and the toolbox run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data is deleted after 14 days. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

Contact through the form or by e-mail

When you write to us through the "Let's talk" form or by e-mail, we process your name (optional), your e-mail address and your message to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR when it concerns an order, otherwise (f)). Messages from the form are kept on our server at Hetzner in Germany; the operator's phone only gets a note that a message has arrived, without name or content. We delete messages from the form after 180 days, earlier once the request is settled and no statutory retention period applies. So that nobody uses the form in bulk, the server keeps your IP address for at most one hour, in memory only.

Having a sentence spoken

In the "Try it" section you can rewrite a sentence and have our voice speak it. For this the sentence goes to our server at Hetzner in Germany, is spoken there and sent back to your browser as a sound file. We store neither the sentence nor the sound file, and nothing goes to third parties. Against misuse the server keeps your IP address for at most one hour, in memory only (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Account for the toolbox (portal.loopmate.de)

You can create an account for the toolbox. For now we give accounts by invitation, later through a waiting list; we activate each account one by one. For this we process:

• your e-mail address, optionally a display name, and the language you chose;
• your password only as an irreversible hash; a second factor, if you switch it on, encrypted;
• when you registered, confirmed and last logged in, when your account was activated, and the version of the terms of use and of this statement you agreed to;
• your signed-in devices (browser and operating system) and a security log of your account with IP addresses (logins, changes to the account). You can see it in your account.

The purpose is to run your account, to activate it and to protect it (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR; the security log Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The toolbox sets only technically necessary cookies: one for your login and one for the language you chose (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Storage period: We delete unconfirmed sign-ups after 7 days. Your account stays until you delete it; you can do so at any time in your account, and it is gone for good after 7 days. We keep the security log for 180 days and the operating logs of the toolbox for 8 weeks. Before deleting, you can fetch everything that belongs to your account under "Download my data".

E-mails (confirmation, activation, new password) are sent through Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland. The European Commission has found that Switzerland offers an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR).

Projects in the toolbox and the agent

Once your account is activated, you describe jobs, upload material and receive films and presentations. This content stays on our server at Hetzner in Germany until you delete it or your

account. Hetzner makes a daily backup of the server and keeps it for 7 days; what you delete is gone from the backups after

that. So that an agent can work for you, the texts of your jobs and the parts of your material the agent needs for the job go to the AI provider Anthropic Ireland, Limited, 6th Floor, South Bank House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 TR29, Ireland. Anthropic processes the data on our behalf (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, Art. 28 GDPR) under its data processing addendum and may not use it to train models. The data is also processed on servers in the USA; this transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). An agent works only once we have activated your account for it.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, which is responsible for us.
